Squirrel and Acorn Throw Pillow Ditz Designs the Sussex henPerched along the branch of a great oak, a squirrel pauses mid task, gathering acorns with careful intent. The scene is rendered with a sense of motion held in place, a fleeting moment from the forest translated into textile. There is a natural rhythm to the composition. The curve of the branch, the scatter of acorns, the focused posture of the squirrel all work together to create a study in instinct and preparation.
